...and so it begins Forget the losses, the draws, and the wins A new threat has emerged and our time is running thin This can't be how this ends We have a new generation and a planet to defend I've been sent from the future with this message to extend One must take action One must stand up One must fight fiercely for life and for love To turn the wheels of change To light the flame of hope To bridge the gap that has us all at each other's throats I guess it's up to me To walk into the past To salvage any remnants of the unity we had Forward thinker Knowledge seeker Fearless leader Our fates are at your fingers I have no time to lose and even less bucks Call me what you will but Don't call this luck Found some friends tired of waiting so much We had lightning in our lungs And a city that we love All the way down to the potholes and the rust Started from nothing turned that to enough To greatness or bust, the first lives we touched to death’s cold, dead clutch In us we trust.

Let me make one thing clear: This is our year It starts with a little bit of sleep, a lot of regret My soles worn down My boss is upset But is it worth it? Well I'd say it's a little hard to explain That my curse is my cure We're not leaving to say that we're never coming back We're bouncing to put our home on the map So let me make one thing clear this is our year My head still hurts My eyes are dead I'm on low on cash but I'll make it work Summer's ghost, once was here Has returned to bother me this year (We've put more blood and tears into facing fears than anyone hears It is our destiny alone to claim the throne top our home. You don't have to love us, just know there's no one above us. A break in the weather and one in the wing. A sudden gust of wind changed everything.) While you're hitting the sheets We'll be hitting the pavement Probably won't change the world but we're reclaiming the basements To all the kids who choose to hate, to those who wouldn't wait, for everyone too cool, every enemy we made You haven't seen the last of me

Some days I think I should settle Put down my roots and think less like a rebel White picket fences keep out the devils But what if it keeps me from the next level? No, I want to know I want to seek out the unknown The ebb and flow It tosses me to newer globes Where I'm alone Ears are open, mouth is closed It truly shows That I am someone with a mind A true design A lonely spirit with a spine, A little time To find a purpose that is mine Before I die It's all I ever want to find I have to try But it's such a tangled web we weave Looking for a home But something inside tells me to leave I feel the life every time I breathe A newer air than the one I received Me, I want to be Someone who can truly lead In time of need A perfect universal key It's time that we Find the strength to just believe Do we agree? That this has gone on far too long A classic con To be treated like a pawn The rich and wrong Just continue to get strong While stepping on The light and length of our new dawn And now it's gone And so it comes to this; a tipping point An entire generation landing on a broken joint Born without stability or a dollar to our names Left us in the wake, so we chase fortune, we chase fame Our needs won't be ignored, ignorantly pushed aside No, not anymore today we start the fight Got a lighter in my grip, and gas surrounds my feet I'll set the world on fire with the knowledge to redeem We can save the world from the evil and the heartless I've only got one shot then I'm aiming at the darkness The future can't be written with the hands of the past We've seen it all before, we need something that will last It starts with a conversation And ends in a revelation

Welcome to my world One full of wonder One full of awe It walks as it twirls I laugh in the summer And breathe in the fall And I pray and I hope that you're okay I broke down and made up with my dismay But that's me, you know I tend to worry Is it real as it feels? Cause it hurts me Pain is our pastime And I get that But you seem to help me forget that If I could take you away I would find us a place Where the fragile are safe We'll throw our hate away I'm just anxious and i do not have the patience Tell me something pretty Something worth the pity of Constant self reflection Patterns in perfection Untraceable in any direction What's my worst intention? Tell me (My love Knows no bounds Above Or underground) Am I not what you want? Cause I can be All I need is simply to be happy And I'm sorry, I always say sorry But I know what I saw and it scarred me I think I know The difference between me and my peers They're all caught up in commercials and infinite stares I hope you're aware You're not too cool to care If I could take you away I would find us a place Where the fragile are safe If I could take it away I would swallow your pain I feel it anyway

To tell the truth I've a heart of stone Shaped by the waves of youth and bitter truth I never felt warmth in the pressures set on me but I found comfort in the weight I might have been lost but I found purpose in the wait All I ever have is all I ever need Someday, I'm gonna be something I'm gonna make it Somehow, I'm gonna make you so proud Bruised shoes, tattoos Lose, choose, untrue To the good ones comes the new gloom Too soon, says who? Blue moon, late bloom Won't make me stop Consistent inconsistencies Mental debt and interest fees A galaxy of obstacles that couldn't stop what's meant for me Don't let my anger define me Don't let my distance design me Don't let my mistakes remind me Don't leave my brightness behind me I know that I'm young but for me that's enough I'm still fighting for the parts of me that remain unloved Breathe in, breathe out Go forth, seek out Free yourself, be yourself Be there when you need yourself Because the flame that shines twice as bright, only burns half as long I'll sing my song, I'll keep my bonds I'll right my wrongs and then I'm gone I know it's optimistic to think pain is a blessing It provides the benefit to all the bones I'm undressing We don't dwell on the past when opportunity calls I never learned how to fly but I learned how to fall

Slow Season 03:25
These late nights are leeches It's a slow burn, but I'll learn Distance makes the heart grow fonder I'll take the time to place and ponder I'm distorting all my joy With everyone around Most times I enjoy it and Sometimes I just start to drown I swear I love them But right now I could just use a break From all my friends and all they do and all the noise they make So somber And unbothered Silence is golden And company copper I'm a planet Dark and stranded You won't understand it I'm a bandit With the habit Hold myself for ransom I'm a phantom Quick to vanish Leaving plans abandoned I'm a magnet To the havoc That could leave me empty handed Just alone Not lonely (I hope heaven is quiet) Distance makes the heart grow fonder I'll take time to place and ponder One slow season then another Solitude shows my true color

I hesitate, gravitate towards uncertain timelines where I am unsure It's pressure on my mind And I see the planets dance with strict precision Never second guessing a decision I long to be so positive Of anything and everything that's causative On my life and on my never ending orbit Where choosing means a universe of forfeit And I'm cognizant that I'll never be perfect But I refuse to get caught up in undercurrent I don't deserve it I'm worthy of strength and love Take my hand, Understand I've made up my mind The whole world is mine
